Eugenio Aza was born on August 21, 1900, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, his father, Vicente Jose Aza Sr., was 42 and his mother, Ignacia "Mama Nina" Arevalo-Aza, was 34. He had one son and two daughters with Estela Rojas Vertiz de Aza (Dec. 19th, 1902 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico - Dec. 23rd, 1989 in Buena Park, Orange County, California, USA) between 1929 and 1939 (Extella Dolores, Eugenio Jr. and Maria Elena). He died on March 19, 1955, in Distrito Federal, Mexico, at the age of 54.
